Thursday June 9
Thursday will be a day to relax before the crowds arrive. Try some tequila tasting at Banditos or Capone’s. You can discover the many restaurants and bars that Puerto Penasco has to offer. Some of the most popular bars are Latitude 31, Sr. Amigos, Wrecked at The Reef and Boo Bar.
Music will kick off at sunset in Cholla Bay at JJ’s Cantina. Four band (tba) will take the stage. Admission is included with any pre-purchased Circus Mexicus ticket.
Friday June 10
Mexican Moonshine Main Stage will open at 6:00pm, the first of three bands will open at 7:00 including the Refreshments with Brian Blush followed by RCPM both doing their first sets, fireworks, surprise guests and who knows what else.
This is also your opportunity to purchase VIP Backstage passes. This will include admission to both Friday and Saturday shows, it will also get you access to the Peacemaker Lounge and stage deck views. After the concert, the party will continue on the outdoor stage at Banditos.
Saturday June 11
Roger Clyne’s annual and Beach Soccer Tournament, will begain at Wrecked at the Reef starts at 9:00AM. Over 100 players will compete for a shot glass trophy. You can join in on the action, or simply have a good time watching. Proceeds will benefit The Penasco Youth Sports Foundation.
Night two will began with The Refreshments with Brian Blush and Roger Clyne & The Peacemakers taking the Mexican Moonshine main stage again! This night will include more great bands with a different set list form Friday night. Past entertainment have included The Pistoleros, Johnny Hickman, The Black Moods, Cross Canadian Ragweed, The Railbenders, Dead Rock West, Cracker, The Strolling Bones, just to name a few.
Immediately after the RCPM concert, another after show will continue at Banditos.
Sunday June 12
Mananathon, a day long jam session, will take place on Sunday at JJ’s Cantina. Bands from the entire weekend will come together and play all afternoon. This up close and personal concert will began about 11am, so show up early and possibly get that photo or better yet an autograph.
Banditos will cap off the weekend with Jim Dalton’s now infamous Domingo Borracho Show. Eddie Spaguetti will join Jim this year.
