Las Gaviotas Rocky Point in Puerto Penasco

This charming condo hotel is located on the beach next to Penasco Del Sol just two blocks away from the popular Calle 13.  Its great location allows you to be within walking distance to restaurants, bars and nightlife as well as all the beach activities.

Las Gaviotas Rocky Point is a small condominium property.  The condos are built in rows movie theater style.  Some condos are poolside and some are ocean front but most units have an ocean view.

All condos here are two bedroom two bath with full kitchens and large balconies.

There is a large swimming pool, child’s pool and BBQ grills.  Las Gaviotas Rocky Point requires some stair climbing to access the condos or beach so be aware of that.

Over all a nice property that offers a good value for a great location.

Not right at the hotel but you will see several vendors right on the beach offering jet ski rentals, banana boat, kayaks, etc.  ATV rentals are located on the street right next to Las Gaviotas Rocky Point.

  • Condos are in rows like a movie theater.  You will need to go down a few flights of stairs to get to the beach and back up to the parking lot.  There are no elevators or ramps.
  • There is no restaurant or bar but condos are very centrally located within a couple of blocks of Calle 13 where you will find several restaurants, shops and bars.
  • There is no daily maid service
  • Bring beach-pool towels.
  • You will find many beach vendors here offering food, souvenirs, umbrella & beach chair rentals, etc.
  • This area of the beach gets more crowded than the beach at the other Sandy Beach Resorts.
  • All condos at Las Gaviotas Rocky Point are 2 bedroom 2 bath.
  • Outside visitors not registered with the hotel are not allowed on the premises.
