Circus Mexicus is an annual music festival held in Puerto Penasco, Mexico, that brings together fans for a weekend of live performances, community events, and beachside festivities.
Founded by Roger Clyne & The Peacemakers (RCPM) in 1999, the festival has grown from a rooftop gathering to a multi-day celebration attracting attendees from around the world.
The 2025 edition of Circus Mexicus is scheduled for June 5th to 9th.
The festival will feature performances from RCPM and a diverse lineup of guest artists across various venues in Puerto Penasco.

Kick-Off Dinner: Banditos Bounty
Festivities begin early on Wednesday, June 4th, with the Banditos Bounty: Dine & Clyne Circus Mexicus Kick-Off Dinner.
This exclusive event offers attendees a private five-course meal curated by a chef, complemented by Canción Tequila paired cocktails.
The evening concludes with an intimate performance by Roger Clyne.
Following the dinner, Banditos will open to the public at 9 PM, featuring a performance by the band Purple Onions.
Expanded VIP Experiences
New for 2025, Circus Mexicus introduces expanded VIP offerings for Friday and Saturday nights at the Canción Main Stage.
VIP benefits include:
- Access to backstage seating, bars, restrooms, and deck areas.
- Entry to the Sound Board decks, equipped with bars and restrooms.
- Use of the Banditos VIP deck during Thursday and Sunday shows, featuring a private bar, restrooms, tables, and chairs.
- Three levels of VIP-only patios at JJ’s Cantina on Saturday and Sunday afternoons, offering seating, bar service, optimal stage views, and dedicated sound.
Roger’s VIP Song Swap
On Sunday morning at 11 AM, JJ’s Cantina will host Roger’s VIP Song Swap.
This event features performances by Roger Clyne alongside artists such as Willy Braun, Micky Braun, Big John Cannon, and Dalton Domino.
VIP ticket holders can enter at 9 AM, while general admission begins at 12:45 PM.
SINGO at Banditos
Attendees can participate in SINGO at Banditos on Friday and Saturday mornings at 10 AM.
This music-themed bingo game replaces traditional numbers with song titles from Circus Mexicus bands.
Players mark their boards upon hearing the corresponding songs, with opportunities to win prizes and enjoy complimentary shots.
Monday Wristband Exchange at JJ’s Cantina
After a weekend of music, attendees are invited to JJ’s Cantina on Monday morning.
By presenting their intact festival wristband, guests can receive a complimentary drink.
JJ’s opens at 9 AM for breakfast from Friday through Monday, with live music on Monday starting at 10:30 AM, featuring performances by Double Shot, Rose Colored Eyes, and Stone.
